Turkey Meatballs For Baby Led Weaning

Turkey meatballs suitable as finger-food for babies from 6 months following baby led weaning. Perfect for toddlers, kids, and adults!

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Frying pan

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g turkey thigh mince
  • 1 tbsp olive oil light in colour
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp white pepper

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
  • Combine all the ingredients with a spoon or your hands. Hands are best, as it's easy to overwork the mixture with a spoon.
  • Once combined, shape the mixture into 9 evenly sized balls.
  • Preheat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium/high heat.
  • Fry the meatballs for about 15 minutes, turning frequently, until browned.
  • Then either cover with a sauce or a little water, and add a lid.
  • Cook for a further 15 minutes or until no pink remains.
  • Serve and enjoy!
